Domain listing scams, a short warning
How fake domain invoices work and what to do instead.
Some businesses get official-looking mail or email that says a domain is about to expire or that a stranger is about to register a lookalike. Many of these are invoices for a directory listing you never ordered.
Check the registrar you already use. If the domain is marked auto-renew there, you can ignore the letter.
Do not call the number on the notice. Look up the registrar yourself and log in on a bookmark you already trust.
If you are unsure, bring the letter to the strategy call. It is a common scare tactic, not an SEO emergency.
None of these notes invent a client result. They are process notes you can use whether you hire Nick Perry Digital or not.
